Ingredients

  • 1 package (6 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 Nestlé milk chocolate bars
  • 1¼ cups peanut butter, divided

Directions

  1. Put the chocolate chips, chocolate bars, and ¼ cup of the peanut butter in the top of a double boiler over hot (not boiling) water. Stir until smooth.
  2. Set out small muffin liners, or cut regular cupcake liners down to a 1-inch depth.
  3. Spoon half of the chocolate mixture equally into the liners.
  4. Melt the remaining 1 cup peanut butter over the hot water and spoon it equally over the chocolate layer.
  5. Top with the remaining chocolate.
  6. Refrigerate until set before serving.

  Chef's Tips

Keep the water hot but never boiling — chocolate seizes when overheated. Cutting regular cupcake liners down to 1 inch works if you can't find the small ones.
