The old family-favorite broccoli salad, remade with a tangy yogurt dressing
Ingredients
- 1 medium head broccoli, cut into bite-size florets (about 5½ cups)
- 4 slices bacon, crisp-cooked and chopped
- ¼ cup finely diced onions
- ⅓ cup raisins
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds, preferably dry roasted or salted
- ¾ cup yogurt
- 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Directions
- Place the broccoli florets, onions, and raisins in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the yogurt, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to coat.
- Stir in the bacon and sunflower seeds just before serving.
